A 36 year old woman claims she captured two half-naked ‘witches’ eating a dead carcass in some bizarre ritual. Corinea Stanhope, from Powell River, Canada came across a dead deer and decided to set up a tail camera in the hopes of capturing some wildlife activity around the carcass at night time.
Instead, when her grandfather checked the footage he told he’d got naked people on camera.
“I came the next day and grandpa said he’d got naked people on the camera and I said ‘no you didn’t. Bullsh*t’ so he showed me. I don’t know what the heck was up with that. It really freaked us out, it’s not something you see every day.
“They came ten minutes after sunset. They looked disheveled. It looks like they have wigs on. One looks like she has blonde hair underneath.”
The mirror.co.uk reports that Stanhope was left horrified as her house is only a two minute walk from where the naked figures were captured on camera. She keeps three horses on her land she added.
“I don’t know what the heck was up with that,” Corinea Stanhope, 36, told Kennedy News of the spine-tingling sight. “It really freaked us out, it’s not something you see every day….You can’t really tell from the images but the hoof was brought right up to her mouth.”
“I don’t know if she was kissing it, smelling or eating it but to touch a decaying carcass like that makes me feel sick. The amount of bacteria that must have been on there.
“Maybe they were paying their respects but they were naked.”
Although we haven’t been able to find the original social media post, the Mirror reports that Stanhope added;
“A lot of people mentioned skin walkers and wendigos.“
“There’s rumours around town about a cult that collects animal bones. I don’t know if it’s real or not.”
